California State Funded Training Programs' title='California State Funded Training Programs' />The Grants and Cooperative Agreements Program Grants Program provides for well managed off highway vehicle recreation in the State of California by providing financial assistance to cities, counties, districts, federal agencies, state agencies, educational institutions, federally recognized Native American Tribes, and nonprofit entities. The Grants Program supports the planning, acquisition, development, maintenance, administration, operation, enforcement, restoration, and conservation of trails, trailheads, areas, and other facilities associated with the use of off highway motor vehicles, and programs involving off highway motor vehicle safety or education. California State Funded Training Programs' title='California State Funded Training Programs' />Off Highway Vehicle OHV Grants and Cooperative Agreements Program Grants Program grant cycle. The  workshops scheduled for the week of January 8, 2. OHV grants cycle. The two day workshop, one held in Southern California Bakersfield and one held in Northern California Sacramento, will be two full day sessions. Please see the attached agenda for the information on the workshops. Applicants may attend one or both days of the workshop. Although attendance is not required to participate in the Grants Program, the OHMVR Division encourages applicants to attend, as the workshop provides valuable information. NOTE There will not be extensive hotel Wi Fi capabilities as the OLGA portion of the workshop is not being conducted this year. Participants will be able to use the hotels free Wi Fi however, capabilities will be limited. In addition, attendees are responsible for making their own hotel accommodations. The California Department of Parks and Recreation, Off Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation OHMVR Division announces its Contingency List Operations and Maintenance for the 2. Grants and Cooperative Agreements grant cycle. As allowed in Public Resource Code section 5. D, any unencumbered funds under the Operations and Maintenance category may be used in future grant cycles for purposes consistent with this category. The OHMVR Division established this list through the competitive 2. Final Awards. Projects on this list may be awarded during the duration of this list as funds become available from the G1. Upon the availability of funds, projects will be funded in order of score until all funds are exhausted. This list expires at 5 0. Pacific Time on January 5, 2. If funding becomes available for any projects within this list and upon approval of projects by the Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation, the OHMVR Division will prepare and execute project agreements. The project agreement sets forth the terms and conditions of each project. No project may proceed until a fully executed project is in place.
